CLAUDIA MORALES VELASQUEZ - English Teacher
My name is Claudia Morales Velásquez and I have worked with the English Program at Universidad Pedagógica Francisco Morazán CUR-SPS since 2016. I teach mostly in the levels but this year I started working with the Program Language Center teaching level I and level III. I studied at UPNFM CUR-SPS and majored in English. During my free time I love to explore and see new places. I enjoy everything that involves activities in open spaces; zip-lining, kayaking, snorkeling, visiting a quiet green forest, eating by the shore of a breezy beach or reading a good book in a quiet afternoon. I always encourage my students to follow their dreams and that everything they want depends on how much they really want it, all the power to achieve them is in their hands.
STEPHAN JONES - English Teacher
My name is Stephan Jones and I’m the Fulbright English Teaching Assistant here in San Pedro Sula. I help teach English at UPNFM-CURSPS with Licenciada Claudia Morales in the Language Center in the mornings and with Licenciada Ruth Mendoza in the evenings; I also help teach English at the Centro Cultural Sampedrano with the Micro-Access Scholarship Program in the afternoons. The university I attended was Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana; I would go on to receive a Bachelors of Arts in Spanish with a minor in English Literature. In my free time, I like to read in both English and Spanish, binge watch a few series on Netflix, cook, and exercise (even though I’ve been very lazy recently).
